Vauxhall has added the GS grade to the Vivaro line in the UK, which is great news for fans of sporty vans. Both the diesel-powered Vivaro and the zero-emissions Vivaro Electric can be had with the GS package, which includes exterior and interior enhancements as well as a more powerful diesel engine that is exclusive to the GS.

The Vivaro GS's exterior has been upgraded with a wide front splitter, sleek side skirts, a reworked rear bumper, and a stylish roof-mounted spoiler. New black 18-inch alloy wheels improve the vehicle's visual appeal. GS-branded red stitching eco-leather seats upholstered by hand are also brand-new inside.

Only Vauxhall Vivaro Panel Van and Doublecab models sold in the United Kingdom are eligible for the new look. However, it is expected that those components will work with the Opel Vivaro/Zafira Life and probably with the whole of Stellantis' sibling van portfolio.

The diesel-powered GS variant comes with upgraded engine performance. The 178 horsepower generated by the upgraded 2.0-liter Turbo D diesel engine is a boost of 35 horsepower over the original engine. The eight-speed automatic transmission sends power to the front wheels.

Meanwhile, Vivaro Electric GS keeps the 134 hp electric motor and 192 lb-ft of torque that comes standard, as well as the 75 kWh lithium-ion battery that allows it a WLTP range of 189 miles. Vauxhall Vivaro GS prices begin at £41,000 ($46,567) (before taxes and fees), while the Vivaro Electric GS is £55,000 ($62,468).
