Vantas Launch Delayed Until The End Of 2022, First Models To Be Built In China

HAAH Automotive Holdings is one of the many Chinese auto companies that intend to bring their vehicles to the US. This year might be a successful one. Recently, the company has signed a letter of intent with Shanghai Sicar Automotive Technology Development Co.

The company wants to achieve the expansion of their original engineering service agreement into a joint venture, to have the legal opportunity to bring Vantas and T-GO branded vehicles to America. The letter mentions the Vantas VX and TXL as the first models scheduled to arrive by the end of 2022. The joint venture marks an assembled contract in China with US-made content. 

So far, HAAH should launch its next Vantas VX and TXL, with the T-GO arriving in two models one of them being a pickup. Like many automakers, HAAH will option its first internal combustion engine cars towards the trend - electric vehicles in the future. The wait won't be long since the company already is working on such a project, confirming the possibility of future EVs Vanta and T-GO electric versions. 

Due to the pandemic restrictions, it's merely impossible now to build the vehicles in the United States as originally planned. Still, they are joggling with the idea of building a manufacturing plant on American soil in the next years. 

As previously reported, both Vantas VX and TXL will be powered by the turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine delivering an output over 240 horsepower coupled to a seven-speed automatic transmission, optionally paired to an AWD system. The idea is great so, let's hope this one will become real.
