For the 2024 model year, Genesis is set to make some noteworthy changes to the G70 lineup in North America. The major shift involves phasing out the old 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine and replacing it with a more potent 2.5-liter engine, aiming to give the entry-level sedan a performance boost.

This new 2.5-liter turbocharged engine, initially introduced to South Korean customers, brings an impressive 300 hp and 311 lb-ft of torque to the table.

The 2.5-liter turbocharged engine will join the existing 3.3-liter turbo V6, which continues to be available for the 2024 model year, delivering 365 hp.
