Heads up, everybody! What used to be an amazing concept seems to be closer to becoming reality: Lamborghini Ankonian, welcome to reality!

More and more news is pointing to the fact that Lamborghini Ankonian is finally becoming real. It had to hit production several times now but somehow it always got postponed. Fingers crossed, everybody, cause it seems that all problems are left behind now.

Lamborghini is famous for its great cars, being one of the most important supercar makers in the world. All of its cars are immediately recognized on the streets, but Ankonian was something that even Lambo could not handle. Until now.

The first renders of the long-awaited model were very much like a Batmobile. Well, obviously, since it has been designed by a Nolan film fan and Lamborghini bought the concept straight away. You may refresh your memory and see how it all begun here.

The current images launched by no one else by Lamborghini itself and are… something else. Designers got serious about it, production is waiting for it with arms open wide, so seems that the launch date will soon be announced.

As for the price, Lamborghini Ankonian 2021 will probably be one of the most expensive cars in the world. Current estimates revolve around USD 40 million, which does seem a lot. But hey! It’s a Lamborghini. It’s Lamborghini Ankonian.

This promises to be a unique car, with futuristic elements. The production version will keep some of the concept car’s details, the aerodynamic design and luxury appearance being Ankonian’s main targets.

Although not many images have been made public, we do know for a fact that its interior will be featuring race-inspired design, mixed with comfort and high-end luxury. Yet, the mystery is still in the air.

As for technology, Lamborghini promises some of its latest tech to be featured on Ankonian, alongside some advanced elements, exclusively available to this model. With such a price tag, we can definitely expect Lambo to keep its promise.

As for power, many assumptions have been made over the years. For now, our best guess is to a premiered LT1 engine, delivering 460 hp at 465 lb-ft of torque, running along with a 7-speed transmission. This will help Lamborghini Ankonian touch its first 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds, topping at 198 mph.
We’ll soon be back with news, so stay tuned!
