The wait has now come to an end; the new 2024 Nissan Z Nismo has begun to take shape, becoming more powerful, more aerodynamic, and offering better control for carving corners.

The Nissan Z Nismo is available in five colors: Black Diamond Pearl, Passion Red TriCoat, Brilliant Silver, Everest White Pearl TriCoat, and Stealth Grey—an exclusive Nismo shade.

Pricing is expected to be revealed alongside purchase availability.

First and foremost, let's discuss power. The source remains the twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 engine. However, Nissan engineers utilized a proven method to increase boost, tweak the cooling system, and add tuning to extract an extra 20 horsepower and 34 pound-feet of torque. Specifically, the power now reaches 420 HP and 384 lb-ft, with peak torque available from 2000 to 5200 rpm, creating a broad power band.

More power is meaningless without the knowledge of how to use it. Nissan emphasizes several subtle but breathtaking renovations to the design, which, although minor, play a vital role in enhancing the cooling system and downforce.

A groundbreaking change comes with the front fascia, where Nissan has introduced a design called the Grand-Nose, or G-Nose. This design extends further forward than the grille of the old Z's rectangular grille era, signifying the new age of the 2024 Nissan Z Nismo.

Nissan reveals the base of the front fascia, which they claim is the thinnest mesh they have ever used to cover the grille opening. The fascia's corners feature canards that are both stylistic and practical, increasing downforce while integrating into the Nismo side sills.

Updates to the suspension and brakes make a noticeable difference. Nissan has implemented sway bars, retuned dampers, and stiffer springs. The braking system's final touch includes 15-inch rotors in the front and 13.8-inch discs at the back. These innovations crown the chassis, stiffened to better withstand the rigors of attacking race tracks, with a focus on underfloor bracing.

To better handle the upgrades, Nissan introduces a brand-new driving mode called Sport+, created to provide an enjoyable ride for the driver.

Furthermore, both the driver and passenger can relish the new Recaro seats that keep them comfortably in place.
