Two Unmarked Dodge Challengers Are Delivered To Arizona Cops

Two undercover Dodge Challenger patrol cars have just been added to the fleet of an Arizona police department. The Prescott Valley Police Department stated on Facebook that it had won a $130,000 grant from the Arizona Governor's Office of Highway Safety, which is spent to buy two 2021 Dodge Challenger R/T vehicles.

These two Dodge Challengers will be directed to "aggressively enforce hazardous driving on our roadways," will be used for "daily enforcement and collision response, as well as special details such as speed enforcement, bicycle/pedestrian safety, and impaired driving enforcement," according to the police department.

Local roadways have experienced more traffic, as well as a jump in unsafe driving and excessive speed penalties, according to Prescott Valley police. Hidden blue and red flashing LEDs have been installed in the front grilles, side skirts, and even the hood scoop of the two Challengers.

However, many citizens of the tiny town are dissatisfied with the way the police department used the $130,000 award.

The Prescott Valley Police Department may not have spent the whole $130,000 award on the two Dodge Challengers, since a Challenger R/T begins at little over $37,000, leaving almost $56,000 for other purposes.
