In 2017 they will bring 4 new sports cars to the market and so far the reception by buyers has been great. When they made the announcement, the phones started ringing off the hook and buyers lining up to pay a 5000 GBP deposit.
An independent British manufacturer, they were at one time the third-largest maker of lightweight sports cars and offered a wide range of coupes and convertibles.
TVR operations director John Chasey said "We've been totally blown away by the reaction to the new car. Our phone lines and online inquiry system went into meltdown when the news was announced, and we decided that we must begin to bring a structure to the inquiries and build a delivery pipeline well in advance of production."

TVR is attempting to make a comeback after an absence from the market for over 10 years and a disastrous buyout by a Russian oligarch. A group of well-heeled TVR enthusiasts are the current investors and have had the well-known engineering guru Gordon Murray to design the new line of cars which will be powered by a V8 Cosworth engine.
