The Toyota Hilux Champ, known for its tough, no-frills nature, is a favorite for those who love customization. Now, thanks to Thai company Carryboy, you can turn this reliable pickup into a fully-equipped motorhome—a dream come true for anyone who wants to take their adventures on the road.

Unveiled at the Hilux Champ launch in Thailand last year, the motorhome is now available for purchase. Built on the long-wheelbase chassis cab, it offers more space and a seamless design compared to typical slide-in conversions. It's also compatible with the Toyota Hilux and Mitsubishi Triton, giving you more options.

Inside, there’s a cozy living area that converts into a bed, a sleeping nook up top with a skyview window, and a compact bathroom with a hot shower and toilet. You’ll also find a dining table, LED lighting, plenty of storage, an 80-liter fridge, kitchen appliances, a 32-inch TV, and air conditioning. On the exterior, there are electric side steps for simple access, an electric awning for shade, and an optional slide-out kitchen for cooking under the stars.

The standard setup comes with a 9,600 Wh battery, with upgrades available if you plan to go off-grid longer. Plus, a solar panel on the roof helps keep things powered up when the sun is shining. Under the hood, the motorhome keeps the Hilux Champ’s 2.4-liter diesel engine, offering 148 hp and 253 lb-ft of torque, paired with an automatic transmission.

For those looking to tackle tougher terrain, Carryboy also offers a suspension upgrade to boost ground clearance and comfort. The price starts at ฿1,997,000 and goes up to ฿2,389,500 ($58,500 to $70,000), which is a big jump from the base model’s price of ฿459,000 ($13,500). If you’re looking for a more affordable option, Carryboy’s Touring Package might be just the thing.

Starting at ฿450,000 ($13,000) with an extra ฿32,500 ($950) for a rooftop tent, it’s a simpler setup that still offers plenty of storage for all your camping gear. Perfect for those who want to explore the wilderness without all the bells and whistles.
