The fourth-generation Toyota Noah and Voxy minivans are currently available after both models were introduced in late 2001. The vehicles are available in a variety of configurations, including Welcab versions, which are specially designed for wheelchair-bound passengers.

They both use the TNGA-C chassis and include power sliding doors, running boards, and hand grips to enhance the interior space. The front- and all-wheel-drive JDM people carriers are powered by a 2.0-liter gasoline engine with a CVT transmission.

In comparison to previous-generation vehicles, a hybrid powertrain with a 1.8-liter engine and an improved electric motor and battery pack is available. Toyota's in-house tuners TRD and Modellista provide upgrades for the new Noah and Voxy. Everything from body modifications and 18-inch wheels to door handle covers and extra outside illumination is available. Buyers may also have a JBL sound system as well as an inflatable bed installed on the interior.

The cabin has a functional underfloor with a spacious 104-liter (3.67-cubic-feet) storage box, which is supported by a wheelbase of 2,850 mm (112.2 in). The rearmost seats have a sliding mechanism that allows them to be folded for more cargo space with only one touch. Captain's seats will be available in the second row of the seven-seat variant.

The central screen on the less costly trim levels is 8 inches, while the 10.5-inch display is standard on the more expensive versions. Toyota claims to be the first automaker to provide a "free-stop rear hatch door" for models without a powered tailgate. It works by simply pushing the back door, which is stopped at any angle by a Karakuri mechanism.

Both 2022 Toyota Noah and Voxy are now on the market in Japan, with prices ranging from 2,670,000 to 3,960,000 yen (about $23,300 to $34,500).
