Toyota Mirai - new technical details about the first hydrogen powered car series!

A few weeks ago Mirai Toyota unveiled the first car in the world powered by hydrogen. Well, here today, the Japanese come with new technical details about the car that will be launched into production in 2015.

The engine develops 155 hp that will allow the cars to accelerate to the first 100 km/h in just 9 seconds. And to supply a full tank you can enjoy a range of 483 km! The price announced for overseas customers is the US $ 57,500. However, it will be purchased and a lower price of 44.500 USD due to the support offered by the US government guaranteeing subsidies for those who buy a car full organic. More companies will offer new Mirai and leasing with a monthly rate of 499 USD. The car will be produced at the Motomit factory, and from the gates of the factory shall come out only 12 units. The first cars will be put on sale in California in the fall of 2015.
