Hiroki Tanaka, among this elite group, undertook a comprehensive course and passed a stringent certification exam to earn his place on the assembly line.

The examination process was thorough, assessing hands-on capabilities, knowledge of the Century's storied legacy, and technical know-how through written and practical tests.

Since joining Toyota in 2007 and honing his expertise on the Land Cruiser chassis, Tanaka has brought his passion and precision to the Century project.

Here, each suspension component he installs is critical; any slight variance could reverberate throughout the entire vehicle.

Toyota's quest for perfection is intensified with the Century, where a mere 5% torque deviation is permitted, a far cry from the 20% allowed in other models.

For Tanaka and his colleagues, this means painstaking attention to detail, especially for parts requiring significant torque, challenging them to maintain exacting standards under physical strain.
