The official specs of Toyota's bZ4X have been released ahead of its European introduction. Interestingly, the WLTP range of the fully electric vehicle is greater than the preliminary statistics, 321 miles. The bZ4X is built on the eTNGA platform, which will power all seven bZ siblings when they appear by 2025.

Toyota said that the FWD model's homologated WLTP range is 321 miles, while the dual-motor AWD variant's endurance is 292 miles. Both figures are greater than earlier estimates of 311 miles and 286 miles, respectively.
An even shorter 279-mile range was reported for the UK debut.

The battery capacity varies somewhat between the FWD and the AWD, with 71.4 kWh in the FWD and 72.8 kWh in the AWD. Both are capable of charging at up to 6.6 kW AC and up to 150 kW DC. Toyota is providing an extra extended care package that guarantees 70% of the battery's life for ten years or 621,371 miles.

The single-motor variant has a power output of 201 horsepower and torque output of 195 lb-ft, allowing it to go from 0-62 mph in 8.4 secs. All-wheel drive and a total output of 215 horsepower and 247 lb-ft of torque are provided by the dual-motor arrangement, allowing a time of 7.7 seconds from 0-62 mph.

Beginning this summer, the first bZ4X deliveries will be made in European markets. Toyota has not yet released pricing for European markets, although the entry-level bZ4X starts at £41,950 ($55,140) in the United Kingdom.
