Forget about the usual suspects like hefty SUVs and luxury sedans—armored protection has now taken a surprising turn. In Brazil, you can now secure a Toyota Corolla with top-tier security features, proving that even everyday cars can offer exceptional peace of mind.

This option is available for both new and used Toyota Brazil cars, thanks to their partnership with local armoring professionals Avallon, Carbon, Evolution Blindagens, and Parvi Blindados. Those interested can now set up their Toyota Corolla for armoring right at the dealership before they even get the keys, ensuring their ride is ready to go with enhanced security from day one.

Vehicles that are compatible with it include the Hilux truck, the Corolla Cross SUV, the Corolla sedan, and the SW4 (Fortuner), as stated on the official website's dedicated page. Used vehicles that have passed a pre-purchase inspection at a Toyota dealership and are not older than a year will also be eligible. In the event of an assault, the companies add stronger glass and strengthen the bodywork with specialist materials, making the car safer.

According to reports, the armor can resist bullets fired from submachine guns and other projectiles, including metal pipes and bats. Toyota's Bulletproof Corollas and Hilux Vehicles are now available to Brazilian customers. Top Gear Philippines found the service in the black armored Corolla. Regrettably, we do not yet know how much the optional update will cost. However, depending on the parts, the materials have a 5- or 10-year warranty, and the armoring installation services have a 5-year warranty.

Even though crime rates have dropped, Brazil's 39,500 murder toll continues to haunt the nation. Due to this unpleasant truth, Brazilian drivers are buying more auto security systems to combat violent crime on the roads.
