This Isn't Just A Shining Supercar - This Is A Panther's Spirit Trapped Under The Hood!

Two years ago, Panther ProgettoUno marked the official debut of the Italian Ares Design Panther, and the car market got a ferocious supercar painted in eye-catching color.  Their previous design followed the Lamborghini  Huracan envision and was a successful modern take led by DeTomaso Pantera. This year brings another shining star - the Pantera - and be ready for experiences behind the wheel.

2021 is a beautiful year for new projects, and the Italian new brand is ready to make a point with their new Leva Cambio Manuale Elettroattuata or an electro-actuated manual gearbox. This gearbox was designed to work as a sequential gearbox but still follows a traditional H-shaped gear pattern. There is a trick, of course, since the transmission only creates the feeling of a manual gearbox. You see, this one works in parallel with the gear selector switches, whose old-fashionably mounted behind the steering wheel. It is all about tradition.

The Pantera has an upgraded exhaust system dividable in three different modes - Corsa, Strada, and Pista. A cross-shaped exhaust system should enhance the deep sound. At the same time, it optimizes the exhaust gas flow. Absolute perfection, right? Besides its stunning exterior, you will instantly notice the new set of 21-inches billet aluminum wheels. 

According to Andrea Donati, the Ares Design tech director, the company always puts their customers' experiences at the heart of their cars. It is a continuous refining experience. “We are very happy with the updates to the car; the new gearbox gives the driver the option of enjoying what is essentially a manual driving experience with all the thrill of driving a supercar, while the upgrade to the exhaust will produce a thrilling performance sound which can be dialed up or down as the driver wishes.”

So far, Ares Design limited the Pantera production to only 21 units though they wanted to build 70 more. The non-established price was rumored at $404,000 (€334,900). Notice that the presumable price does not include Value Added Tax nor the donor car's price.
