This 815 HP Audi V8 DTM Is Too Much For Even Ken Block

Ken Block, in case you missed it, has parted ways with Ford. Last month, the master drifter entered into a partnership with Audi in which he will assist in developing electric cars for the road and track and hoon a highly adapted Audi e-tron in the Electrikhana. Block is given a tour of some of Audi's most legendary touring cars housed in a secret storage location before taking the Audi V8 DTM for a drive.

Audi A4 Quattro, which led the British Touring Car Championship in the 1990s, is one of the big names. AWD cars were also barred from competing in the BTCC as a result of this.

The 1990 Audi V8 Quattro DTM is propelled by a 3.6 liter V8 that develops 463-hp and revs to 11,500 rpm, it is based on Audi V8 from the 1990s. Audi V8 Quattro DTM captured two consecutive DTM championships in 1990 and 1991 with power supplied to all four wheels.

After giving it a spin, Block commented, "It's very pleasant and responsive." "I enjoy how it revs as well." The next car Ken Block gets to drive is a lot softer than the V8 DTM, but it's also a lot more powerful. Ken Block was taken to Audi Sport's test center in Neuburg, Germany, to test the e-tron Vision GT in prep for Electrikhana.

The prototype electric race car was originally constructed for Gran Turismo Sport, but a one-of-a-kind real-life version was also made. Audi V8 DTM electric racer, which has three electric engines (one in the front and two in the rear) generating 815 hp and 738 lb-ft of immediate torque, is too much for even Ken Block. He claimed that he didn't know how hard to push it. We expect more interesting stuff from Block and Audi in the future.
