This 1954 Nomad Concept-Based Chevy Corvette Wagon Is Available For Purchase

In 1954, the Chevy Nomad Concept utilized the Nomad badge for the first time. It's essentially a C1 Corvette fused with a two-door wagon body, but regrettably, it didn't make it into production. However, this does not rule out the possibility of its development, as shown by Advanced Automotive Technologies.

The bodywork was inspired by the 1954 Chevrolet Nomad concept vehicle and was based on a 2004 Chevrolet Corvette. And now, Bring a Trailer has put it up for auction. With 11,000 km on the clock, it's the same rare AAT Nomad that was auctioned in 2020.

It's said to be one of six AAT Nomads, and one of two with red paint, with a $129,995 price. A 350 hp (260 kW) 5.7-liter LS1 V8 powers this shooting brake, which is transmitted to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission.

The front end, like the front bumper, hood, and fenders, is from a C1 Corvette. Chrome is everywhere, including the grille, bumper, moldings, as well as Z06-style wheels. While the appearance is identical to the 1954 design, the advantage of this updated Nomad version is the inclusion of contemporary amenities in the cabin.

It comes equipped with heated and power-adjustable bucket seats as well as dual-zone automatic temperature control, cruise control, a head-up display, power windows, and a stock CD radio with Bose sound.
