There is a belief that the difference between a hypercar and a supercar lays only in the price. Nothing can be further than the truth!
Hypercars from Bugatti, Pagani, McLaren, or Koenigsegg have 7 figures in their price. But they also perform on those numbers. Their power is beyond any capability of a regular supercar like say - Audi R8 GT Spyder. If you're wondering what the difference is, we got a video for you.
The people from the BHP project have put a Koenigsegg One:1 against an Audi R8 GT Spyder on a landing strip in the UK. To give you an idea about the specs, the Koenigsegg has 1,340 hp and the Audi has 552 hp.
Initially, Audi gets the advantage but a few seconds later the Koenigsegg catches up and simply leaves the 197 mph R8 GT in the dust.
