The Ultimate Toyota Camry Has Arrived

If you crave a sporty sedan and you are a Toyota fan then the Toyota Camry TRD is your best choice this year. The automaker claims that this one is the best Camry ever since the beginning of the model along with the TRD tagged name being a hit on the sales charts.

Both Toyota and TRD (Toyota Racing Development) have just introduced a much more extreme version of the Camry sedan dubbed as the Toyota TRD Camry Next Gen. This one is expected to compete on the track next year as part of the Nascar Cup Series (NCS). Delivering up to 670 horsepower and showing off a flashy styling, this Camry will debut at the 2022 Daytona 500.

Toyota is one of the well-established Nascar's presence with its Camrys and racing versions of both Tundra and Supra. Toyota recently confirmed the TRD Camry Next Gen was designed to resemble its production equivalent and become an eye-catcher on the roads.

"This is our topline, track-inspired performance Camry and it seemed only fitting for it to take its spot on the race track. There has been a substantial amount of work put into the Toyota TRD Camry Next Gen car by all of our partners, but specifically everyone at TRD and Calty Design," stated the group manager of motorsports and assets at Toyota Motor North America Paul Doleshal.
