The Swedes present in New York new versions of R-Design

The R-Design versions of the S60, V60 and XC60 come with a modified front side, a black front grille, daytime running lights with LEDs as standard, an air diffuser integrated in the rear bumper and different ornaments for discharges. Inside, each model has the standard sports seats, black ceiling and partial leather. Customers can also order a full leather upholstery.

The range of engines available for R-design versions of these models ranges from the diesel of 1.6 liters named D2 to the top engine, T6, which can be ordered in the company of an ECU with the software Polestar, approved by the factory in Goteborg. R-Design versions of the S60 and V60 are equipped with a sport suspension that provides the reduced ground clearance by 15 millimeters compared to the Dynamic suspension and offer stronger springs by 15 percent against that one.

Volvo officials estimated that about 30% of United Kingdom’s customers will order an R-Design model.
