The car you see in the pictures is called Hainan Xiaohuohua and is the child of a Chinese student named Chen Yinxi.

First, let us say that this is an electric car and is not as fast as it looks. It reaches only 30 km/h and its autonomy is probably pretty diminished, according to Jalopnik.com.

But, when you think that it was built by a student, with only 5000 dollars, things change.

Chen Yinxi has built it throughout one year. He used material that he got from his father's recycled plastics and he handled the molds. The pieces and the platform were ordered through the internet, paying approximately 4700 dollars for them.

The name Hainan Xiaohuohua is translated as Hainan Young Flower and is inspired by the name of the Hainan village, where Yinxi lives.

Chen Yinxi is already planning on stopping his studies in order to dedicate his time to car design.
