The GT-R Is Gone And Nissan's Future Super GT Race Car Is The All-New Z

Nissan GT-R is officially being phased out. It's not the production model, though, that they're abandoning. It's the Super GT model, which will be released before the end of the year. After 13 years of competition in the Super GT GT500 class, this is the final chapter.
Five times, the GT-R helped Nissan win the driver's championship. The GT-R will hand off its heritage to the all-new Z with the 2022 Super GT season.
The Z is making a comeback to Japan's top level of GT racing, where it was the series' forerunner to the GT-R. Z GT500 has a lot of ground to make up after an absence of almost a decade. The Z GT500, like the rest of the series, must employ a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with a single turbocharger. The maximum output of these engines is 650 hp (485 kW). The all-new Z cues are clearly visible from the outside.
It's just a Z by name since, like all the other vehicles in its class, it's a tube-frame silhouette race car. Nonetheless, with its low, wide stance and aggressive aerodynamic kit, this is the greatest-looking next-gen Z yet.
