As expected, Opel Astra Sports Tourer is already here, a stylish vehicle that will be available to purchase from 2022. The Astra Sports Tourer, as predicted, shares stylistic characteristics with the current-generation Astra hatchback.

When you look down the sides of the Astra Sports Tourer, you'll see that the roofline has been expanded. The automobile measures 4.6 meters long (181 inches), 1.8 meters wide (71 inches), and 1.4 meters in height (55 inches), giving it significantly greater baggage space than the hatchback.

Opel Astra Sports Tourer's powertrain hasn't been revealed in its whole, but it's likely to be similar to the hatchback's motor lineup. A 1.2-liter turbocharged three-cylinder petrol engine with 108 and 128 hp should be available, as well as a 1.5-liter four-cylinder turbodiesel engine with 128 hp.

Both a 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder, an electric engine, and a 12.4 kWh battery pack are predicted, with 178 horsepower and 222 hp, respectively. According to Opel, versions with petrol and diesel engines will have an adjustable load floor that can be moved into high and low levels. Also, it's possible to rotate it at a 45-degree angle.

The cabin will have a 10-inch digital instrument cluster, a big infotainment screen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and it will be available in the very same Design, GS Line, and Ultimate trim levels as the hatch. Once the order books for the new Opel Astra Sports Tourer are open in early 2022, pricing information will be made available.
