The Russians from AvtovazLadaKalina will launch a 180 hp!

The Russian AvtoVaz keeps an eye on the Dacia Center and does not want to stay behind. Recently, announced that they will launch a sports version of the Kalina that will compete with the future Dacia Sandero GT!

The Sports Division of the Russian company Avtovaz announced it will launch a version of the compact LadaKalina Sport. Already known car's names, it will be called LadaKalina NFR Turbo and has a 180hp engine. It is not known what unit will use the car and which are the technical parameters but it is known that the model will appear on the market in 2016.

With LadaKalina NFR Turbo, the Russians will launch a sports car but modest in performance. It is equipped with an NFR Kalina engine and 140 hp 1.6 l volume. The car will develop a maximum speed of 207 km / h and sprints to catch 0-100 km / h in 8.9 seconds. To cope with increased power, the engineers will review the suspension of the car, brakes and wheels will be replaced with 17-inch.

We remind that the strongest LadaKalina Sport is called and comes equipped with a gasoline engine 1.6-liter volume and 116 hp. It is connected to a 5-speed manual gearbox achieving a sprint from 0-100 km / h in 9.5 short and a top speed of 197 km / h.
