Drag-Racing-is undoubtedly one of the most widespread disciplines of the sports cars of the Russian Federation, which lately has experienced a great development, with cars and drivers becoming renowned worldwide.
And most recently is demonstrated by the personal record of Dmitry Kapustin, part of the SMP Racing team.
Nissan Skyline driving a GT-R R32 changed to hard, he managed to walk a quarter-mile (402 meters) in just 7.99 seconds, with a speed of 274 km per hour output. Such an SMP Racing team, also known as Russian Bears, took another victory under his belt. Among the bears are enrolled at least 40 pilots racing champion each of them being champion at different objects as the Russian Championship Drag Racing, WTCC World Touring Car Championship, or FIA WEC which include endurance races.
Speaking of the champion Skyline, find out that its record in the category of used R32 is far from being one of the worldwide as the best performance belongs to the Australians from Heat Treatments who managed to travel the same distance in only 1/4 mile 7.41 seconds. In their case, Dr. GT was capable of 1,668 horsepower!
