The Bizzarrini nameplate is back on the Aston Martin executive's schedule since last year. It'll be back a stunning sports car yet to be fully revealed. So far, we got some details about the next Bizzarrini. Firstly, it'll have a lower and wide posture just like its predecessor. Let's not forget that this Italian legend inspired the popular Ford GT40.

Aston intends to recreate the Bizzarrini with a modern approach and named it 53000 GT Revival Corsa and will not use a Chevrolet V8. Bizzarrini intends to build 24 revival special cars, giving each car a unique, contemporary interpretation of the spectacular original car. Inspired by chassis 0222, the sports car that won the 1965 Le Mans competition.

The man who started the Bizzarrini brand, Giotto Bizzarrini had a real struggle back in the '60s and as a pioneer, he became a true rival for other engineers such as Enzo Ferrari, or Ferrucio Lamborghini. He mostly succeeded by bringing something totally different and revolutionary to the market. The financial motivators behind the project believe that they can repeat Giotto's success - bringing an original vehicle on the market.

Meanwhile, the retro style will be astonished by specific modern features. Besides giving comfort and the latest technologies for a great driving experience, it's also about modernizing the 1965 model to meet today's regulations. This way, the Corsa will be up to every modern standard with Bizzarrini paying a thorough approach to each production detail.

Also, the Italian manufacturer promises the most accurate authenticity presented by working after Bizzarrini's archive of over 1,000 unique blueprints and technical drawings. "Our engineers are peeling back layers of automotive history. For example, the first cars had a single wing mirror, while the bonnet [hood] was originally made from steel, and subsequently replaced by a composite example," Bizzarrini CEO Christopher Sheppard said.

According to Al Roumi, "He believed in building the very best racing machine of the age, using the best available technology and a strong personal vision," said Al Roumi. As you can see, these new Bizzarrini sports cars will be more than just a racing car, the Italian automaker will market them as collector cars, they will be too exquisite to race on a track.

More details will be revealed later this year.
