The brand-new Fiat Titano, which recently made its debut in Algeria, is currently traveling to South America, where Argentina and Brazil will be enthusiastic about it. The Titano, which is based on the Peugeot Landtrek, will provide a variety of regionally specialized engine choices to meet the needs of local consumers.

The 18-inch alloy wheels, the mythologically inspired moniker on the tailgate, and the revamped grille are a few notable characteristics.

There are a number of Chinese vehicles that match the Fiat Titano's greenhouse and general profile, including the Kaicene F70 and Changan Lantazhe. These vehicles are all built on the same ladder-frame architecture. The Titano is somewhat longer than the Toyota Hilux and slightly shorter than the Ford Ranger, with a length of 209.9 inches. There are two cab configurations available for the Fiat: single and double.

On the inside, a 10-inch touchscreen is reserved for the Titano Volcano Premier trim. The Fiat Titano's cabin is quite similar to the Peugeot's, with the only real distinction being the addition of the Fiat logo to the steering wheel.

The 1.9-liter diesel engine in the Algerian-spec Titano stresses fuel economy, according to Fiat. It produces 148 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. The engine is only available with a six-speed manual transmission, which may be set up to send power to either the back wheels (4×2) or all four wheels (4×4) electronically locking differential.

There are three double-cab trim levels of the new Fiat Titano available in Brazil: Endurance, Volcano, and Ranch. As a standard feature, they come with all-wheel drive and a 2.2-liter Multijet II turbodiesel engine that produces 180 horsepower.

Fiat offers the Titano a full complement of Mopar accessories in South America, including more than 40 different parts. A wide variety of aesthetic and functional alternatives are available, including extended fender flares, roof crossbars, a sturdy trail hitch, five distinct side step designs, a wireless charger that accepts USB-C, and much more.

Fiat Titano

The Fiat Titano was introduced in Algeria in December and, depending on the trim level, may be purchased for 3,489,000 DA (about $26,000) to 4,289,000 DA ($32,000). The pricing range in Brazil is between R$ 219,990 and R$ 259,990, which is between $44,100 and $52,100 at the current currency rate. We will announce the pricing and availability for Argentina at a later date.
