The New 2023 Mitsubishi ASX Is Just A Rebadged Renault Captur

Mitsubishi's newest compact crossover, the ASX, has debuted. To the untrained eye, the only discernible difference between this new model and the Renault Captur is in the grille embellishments up front. Mitsubishi has essentially ripped off Renault's powertrain choices along with the car's aesthetic.

A 1.0-liter three-cylinder engine producing 90 horsepower is the base model. There is also a 1.3-liter turbocharged gas engine with mild-hybrid 12-volt technology and two power outputs. You may choose the engine with 138 horsepower and a six-speed manual or with 155 hp and a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic.

At the top of the line is a plug-in hybrid engine displacing 1.6 liters. The ASX has two electric motors and a 10.5 kWh battery, allowing it to go up to 30 miles on energy alone. The engine can produce 157 horsepower. A stylish 10.25-inch digital driver display with 3D navigation and personalization options is available to buyers inside. There is also the option of a seven-inch display.

Moreover, the screen may be shrunk to a tiny 4.2 inches. The infotainment system is also customizable. You may choose between a 7-inch landscape screen and a 9.3-inch portrait screen. These are compatible with Apple CarPlay and Google Android Auto and may be linked wirelessly. It's where you can adjust the eight-color ambiance lighting, choose your driving mode, and manage your audio preferences.

The new 2023 Mitsubishi ASX is equipped with several cutting-edge safety features as standard. To name a few, we have active lane keeping, traffic sign recognition, and the standard rear-end collision warning system that includes emergency braking aid and the identification of pedestrians and cyclists.

High-beam assist, adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, and speed warning are some of the available features. Adaptive cruise control and active lane centering are combined in MI-PILOT, which is standard on the highest-trim vehicles and helps take the burden of driving off your shoulders. In March of 2023, dealers in Germany and a few other European countries will begin selling the all-new Mitsubishi ASX. The cost will be announced at a later date.
