The National Park Service Received A Ford Custom Fire Truck As A Donation

In a remarkable act of generosity, Ford has bestowed upon Bandelier National Monument in New Mexico a custom firefighting command vehicle. This extraordinary machine takes inspiration from the mighty Bronco Badlands and is equipped with the legendary Sasquatch package.

With a high-clearance suspension, front and rear electronic lockers, and 17-inch wheels encased in 35-inch mud-terrain tires, this firefighting build is a force to be reckoned with.

The mighty Ford Bronco underwent an incredible transformation at the hands of Darley. With a touch of magic, it now boasts a formidable Warn winch, a rugged grille guard, and stylish beadlock wheels. This beast also sports a dazzling light bar that illuminates the path ahead, along with emergency lights.

One of the most fascinating aspects is the government's cutting-edge communication system, which boasts an impressive combination of satellite and antenna connections. This ingenious setup ensures unwavering dependability and redundancy, even in the most remote and challenging environments.

Ford has installed a tablet on the front passenger side that shows live video from the drone provided. This feature enhances firefighters' ability to gather information from the air and detect potential hazards. The Bronco Wild Fund facilitated the donation of this unique vehicle. The objective of this fund is to enhance the conservation and management of public lands. It has contributed over $3.7 million to various organizations like Outward Bound, America's State Parks, the National Forest Foundation, and Sons of Smokey.
