The most powerful Ford Mustang series debuted at NAIAS 2015

Ford pleasantly surprised its fans at Detroit Motor Show in 2015 with two new models equipped with hundreds of horsepower. One of these is the most powerful Ford Mustang ever produced!

It is also the fastest Mustang prepared for racing on the track that will be mass-produced. Thanks to the new technology, the engineers were able to achieve for the new Shelby Mustang GT350R an improved drag coefficient, a low weight, and a stiffer chassis.

The aerodynamic kit for this Mustang includes a vent hood, a very aggressive front speaker, alloy designed specifically for better brake cooling, and ventilation slots flared fenders, and new side skirts. Besides what has been mentioned above the engineers have installed a spoiler on the trunk lid, as a result, to obtain the necessary pressure on the meteor.

The Americans have opted for a naturally aspirated engine, which they actually installed under the hood of the new Shelby GT350R. This is a V8 with a volume of 5.2 liters, which develops 500 horsepower and over 542 Nm of torque, and the power is transmitted to the rear axle via a manual gearbox with six gears. For better control was installed a differential lock with a ratio of 3.73.
