The British luxury carmaker Rolls-Royce isn't known for producing shoddy products, but sometimes, the brand will unveil something truly remarkable, even by the company's own high expectations. A Rolls-Royce Phantom may be fine for us, but if you're wealthy and famous, you'll likely want something more extravagant, such as a coachbuilt work of art like this one.

The car made its first public debut this past weekend, on the banks of Italy's famous Lake Como, at the Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este. Announcing the new car here has become something of a custom, as the Sweptail, the first coachbuilt Rolls-Royce of the contemporary period, was also unveiled here in 2017.

CEO Torsten Müller-Otvos reminded visitors that Rolls-Royce isn't completed with major projects like this, saying that the company is "leading a modern coachbuilding movement that takes the wider luxury industry into an entirely different space, where hyper-personalization and contemporary patronage provide essentially limitless possibilities."

A really unique Rolls-Royce has been built, with the bodywork and interior both custom-designed to the client's specifications. The aim is that other aristocrats will follow suit and open their wallets to construct their own one-of-a-kind marvels in the future.

For instance, such a Rolls-Royce Boat Tail costs $28 million to own. And it doesn't end there; this incredible art also includes a watch, which took 3,000 hours to make. What could be better than a coachbuilt Rolls-Royce? We can't wait to find out.
