Nissan Australia will say its goodbyes to the R35-generation GT-R with the release of two special editions that will arrive in Australia in October. The legendary sports car would be sent out with the limited-run T-spec and Nismo SV models, just days after it was revealed that the GT-R will be terminated in Australia based on new side-impact crash test restrictions.

The Nissan GT-R T-spec cars that will be sold in Australia are similar to those that will be sold in Japan and the United States. In the meantime, the GT-R Nismo SV is identical to the 2022 GT-R Nismo model that was just unveiled in Japan.

2022 Nissan GT-R Premium, which starts with AU$193,800 (US$140,987), is the entry-level GT-R in Australia. It has a 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged V6 motor with 561-hp (419 kW) at 6,800rpm and 466 lb-ft (632 Nm) of torque at 3,300rpm, as well as all-wheel drive. Buyers may upgrade to a GT-R Premium Luxury for an extra AU$6,000 (US$4,364), which includes hand-stitched semi-aniline leather accents.

Gold alloy rims and larger Brembo carbon-ceramic brake rotors at 410 mm in front and 390 mm in back are standard on the GT-R T-spec. A carbon-fiber rear spoiler and a dark green cabin with quilt-stitched Alcantara roof lining and suede A-pillars are also included. The T-spec starts at AU$256,700 (US$186,700) in Australia.
