The imposing Citroen C6 no longer produced

The Citroen C6 production will be stopped at the end of this month. The sedan is among the last German produced cars in this segment sold by a French brand and will have no successor.

In the first ten months of this year, it sold only 556 units of Citroen C6 on European markets, making this model unprofitable for PSA Peugeot-Citroen. Peugeot, the sister brand of Citroen, gave up their equivalent of C6, preferring to launch the model 508 designed to replace both 407 and 607.

While the French is gradually giving up on this segment, German manufacturers dominate the large class. BMW 5 Series is the best-selling model in the first ten months of the year across Europe, with 101,600 units, followed by Audi A6 and Mercedes-Benz E-Klasse. E-Klasse will create a new model in this segment, built by the French company Renault, which will be marketed under the brand name: Initiale Paris, says Automotive News.
