The Chevy Tahoe PPV has been around for 25 years, and now the company has unveiled its first pickup truck PPV. The 2023 Silverado PPV improves on the Crew Cab Short Bed model from Chevrolet by adding the Z71 pack, which incorporates Rancho shocks, a skid plate, and a locking differential.

Additionally, a 2-inch elevation is provided to improve the overall ground clearance to a class-leading 11.35 inches and the approach angle to 25.9 degrees. The Silverado is powered by a 5.3-liter V8 engine with a heavy-duty air filter that generates 355 hp and 383 lb-ft of torque. A 10-speed automatic gearbox distributes power to all four wheels.

Silverado

The Silverado adopts the Tahoe PPV's black 20-inch steel wheels and wraps them in Goodyear all-terrain rubber. Six-piston Brembo brake calipers with 16-inch rotors are standard, which aids in towing when the 9,300 lbs towing capability is exceeded, and the Silverado PPV's cornering range is just 46.9 feet.

Additional wiring circuits for horn and siren, Surveillance Mode circuit for exterior and interior lighting control, a front middle seat deletion, and LED or halogen spot lights are all included because the vehicle is designed for police usage.

Silverado

The standard Chevrolet Safety Assist package on the Silverado PPV includes Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning, Forward Collision Alert, Following Distance Indicator, Automatic Emergency Braking, Front Pedestrian Braking, and IntelliBeam headlights, among other technologies. Optional features include Protected Idle, Adaptive Cruise Control, Rear Park Assist, Rear Cross Traffic Alert with Rear Cross-Traffic Braking, etc.
In the United States and Canada, the 2023 Silverado PPV will go on sale in late summer.
