The Fastest 2017 Chevy Camaro ZL1 Reaches Just 200 Mph

The so-called fastest Camaro ever is considered the new Chevy Camaro ZL1 model with its 650 hp (485 kW) powertrain. It is equipped with a V8 engine and a 10-speed automatic transmission. Its top speed is about 200 mph (321 kph), but, if to be more precise, it is 198 mph (318 kph).
These figures were demonstrated at the High-Speed Oval at Germany's Automotive Testing Papenburg ground. That is where Camaro ZL1 got 202.3 mph in one direction and 193.3 mph (311 kph) into the other. The vehicle is equipped with Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar 3 tires.
According to Al Oppenheiser, the chief engineer of Camaro, this is the fastest and the most efficient car from Camaro's lineup. ZL1 reaches 60 mph (96 km/h) in just 3.5 seconds with 1.02gs in the corners.
In case you are really impressed by Camaro ZL1, you will have to get $63,435 out of your pockets for a regular six-speed manual transmission (including $995 destination) or another choice is $65,830 for the 10-speed automatic.
