The Chinese Crossover Tang BYD 505 hp launches soon and will cost 44 000 euros!

The Chinese have announced when they will launch the most powerful Chinese crossover ever produced! This is called BYD Tang and comes with top performance and an attractive price relative to its performance.

The strongest crossover ever produced comes from China and is called BYD Tang. It has 505 horsepower and can achieve sprint 0-100 km / h in 4.4 seconds. It is unknown what the maximum speed of the car is, but most likely it will be electronically limited to 250 km / h.

Top performances are assured of a gasoline engine assisted by two electric motors. The gas station aspirated turbo offers 205 hp and 320 Nm and each electric motor delivers 150 hp and 250 Nm each. The total power is 505 hp and 820 Nm.

Customers can choose less demanding can go for a "modest" version that ensures acceleration to 100 km / h in 4.9 seconds.

Regarding the design are no big surprises, taking over elements of the old Lexus RX crossover. Although the manufacturer declares that he sees as rivals the German models, serious arguments in its favor not really exist. Even the price of 44 000 euro can not compensate for the contradictory design and the modest quality materials.

The official presentation of the crossover BYD Tang will be on 6th June this year.
