The BMW M3 Touring Is Now A Moto GP Safety Car

At the Goodwood Festival of Speed, the BMW M3 Touring is on display decked up as the brand-new MotoGP Safety Car. Along with the production-spec M3 Touring, the customized vehicle will take on the hill climb.

The vehicle was given the full Safety Car makeover, which included distinctive livery, roof lights, extra LEDs on the grille, and every carbon-fiber component from the M Performance kit. The new livery blends blue, teal, and red patterns on a white body and bears the "50 years of BMW M" logo along with the names of all BMW safety cars since 1999.

Recaro race seats with a four-point harness, a fuel extraction system, a safety cross beam, and the appropriate equipment were all installed inside the M3 Touring MotoGP Safety Car. Performance enhancements were not mentioned by BMW. The 503 horsepower and 479 lb-ft of torque produced by the 3.0-liter twin-turbo six-cylinder engine are sufficient.

The M xDrive AWD system transmits power to all four wheels via an eight-speed automatic transmission. The BMW M3 Touring MotoGP Safety Car will make its first-ever race debut at the British Grand Prix in Silverstone in August.
