Before we announce the winner of this contest, let us explain the selection process. Each year car manufacturers provide their hottest sports cars. It can be anything from a roadster to an SUV.

Some companies send more than one model others don't send anything at all. Then a team of expert drivers is testing and evaluating the cars. That is the entire winner selection process.

Here are the cars that competed in the 2015 contest: Cadillac CTS-V, the Lexus RC F, Mazda MX-5 Miata Clubsport, the Mercedes-AMG C63 S, the Porsche Cayman GT4, Cadillac ATS-V, the Volkswagen Golf R, Bentley Continental GT3-R, the Chevrolet Corvette Z06 and the Mercedes-AMG GT S.

And the winner is: the Mercedes-AMG GT S

Here is an overview of what the pilots had to say about the GT S. This is an exquisite, quick, adaptable, and luxurious sports supercar.

Helping it win was in many ways due to the performance of its 4.0-liter V8 engine that unleashes 503 hp and 479 Nm. This power allows it to sprint to 60 mph in a mere 3.5 seconds. The transmission worked flawlessly and almost unnoticeable, the steering and grip were persistent and confident.

This is it for today. We can add that all cars were good and it was a pleasure to drive them. However, the AMG GT S was just a tiny bit better.
