The best driving cars of 2015: Part 2
by AllAutoExperts | 17 April, 2020
Welcome to the second part. Here we have 2 contenders: 2016 Mazda MX-5 Miata Club and Mercedes-AMG C63 S.
2016 Mazda MX-5 Miata
Mazda has been a leader in the roadster segment for almost 25 years. This bestselling roadster had to adapt to modern regulation which resulted in weight gain but did not take from its lap time.

For the 2016 model, Mazda has taken a classic approach. All the modifications are meant to reduce weight (lost about 100 pounds) and size (it is now shorter than the original Miata) and improve driver experience. The driver as the engine is placed lower than in previous models. The engine was also shifted towards the rear.
Under the hood we find a 2.0-liter 4 cylinder engine producing 155 hp and 148 lb-ft of torque. The Club version has almost the same power as its predecessors but it has BBS wheels, Brembo brakes, stiff dampers, and a limited-slip differential.
2015 Mercedes-AMG C63 S
To everyone's surprise, Mercedes has finally built a car that can go fast with better handling. We're talking about the AMG C63 S.

It can produce 503 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque from a twin-turbocharged V-shaped engine. It features an AMG Speedshift multi-clutch transmission, electronic limited-slip differential, and upgraded rear suspension that distributes the power evenly.
