The Best Driving Cars of 2015: Part 1

The contest of the best driving cars of 2015 is not about talking about fuel economy, road tests, space or luxury. This contest is all about the best cars that you'd absolutely love to drive and have fun. We will introduce the contenders by two cars per part and declare the winner at the end.

Here are the first 2 contenders: Cadillac CTS-V and Lexus RC F.

2016 Cadillac CTS-V

The 3rd generation of Caddy is considered one of the best luxury vehicles is lighter, has better chassis than previous-gen, and is more powerful. Under the hood, it has a V8 supercharged capable of delivering 640 hp and 630 Nm to a proprietary 8-speed automatic transmission.

The chassis is lighter and is fitted with magnetorheological shocks. The braking is secured by Brembo brakes on the front wheels and 4-piston binders in the back. The wheels are dressed in Michelin Pilot Super Sport custom-designed for the CTS-V.

2015 Lexus RC F

Previous to the RC F, the performance cred of Lexus was supported by IS F and LFA supercar. Not the time has come for the RC F coupe to impress. In terms of motorization, Lexus went with the classic not 'rod naturally aspirated 5.0-liter V8 engine that delivers 467 hp and 389 Nm.

The power is controlled by revised 8-speed automatic transmission and an electronic torque-vector limited-slip differential. They also borrowed the suspension from IS F and upgraded it with fixed dampers and installed Brembo brakes.

The next 2 contenders are: 2016 Mazda MX-5 Miata Club and 2015 Mercedes-AMG C36 S.
