The All-New McLaren 750S Is Here To Set A New Standard For Performance And Power

Since the MP4-12C's 2011 debut, McLaren has made remarkable progress, which is evidence of a significant shift in its clientele. Nicolas Brown, the President of McLaren Americas, told the audience at the U.S. 750S launch that more than 70–80% of all McLaren cars are now customized, which is a huge jump from 15% some time ago.

Perhaps this is the reason for the sudden rise. The stress is on personalization because 75% of customers buy upgrades from McLaren Special Operations (MSO), including one-of-a-kind paint schemes and special edition models like the 750S 3-7-59, which was launched in November.

Beyond that, McLaren's customer base is shifting, and the average age of the customers has been falling from 50 to 44. The shift in demographics is a sign that younger buyers are increasingly getting interested, which looks promising for future sales.

McLaren was previously catering to professionals like doctors and lawyers, but now a new group is coming up that has learned about McLaren cars through video games and later found success in the tech industry. The love of the McLaren brand by its owners remains undiminished, so it results in sales figures that cannot be doubted.

Brown pointed out the enormous success of the 750S model in his speech, highlighting that it is already sold out until spring 2025. We can see that this car has great specifications, such as a 4.0-liter V8 twin turbo engine that produces 740 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque. Combined with a seven-speed gearbox, it will have 0–60 mph acceleration in 2.7 seconds and a top speed of 206 mph.
