We've been anticipating the next-generation Lexus LX since Toyota unveiled the Land Cruiser Series 300, which won't be sold in the United States. Lexus has released the first official teaser for the LX600 along with an announcement for the big unveiling on October 13th.

A short video shows a few design features of the new LX. The back end, which features L-shaped taillights joined by an LED strip, gets a terrific look. The Lexus writing has replaced the symbol, and the LX600 badge on the tailgate supports the name rumors. The powerful front fenders as well as the door-mounted mirrors are also visible. Lexus LX will share its foundations with the Toyota Land Cruiser, such as the ladder frame and GA-F platform parts.

According to recent sources, Lexus LX600 model may be equipped with the Land Cruiser's twin-turbo 3.5-liter V6 engine, which delivers 409 horsepower (305 kW / 415 PS) and 650 Nm (479 lb-ft). The anticipated LX750h flagship will reportedly merge the same engine with an electric motor to provide 480 horsepower (358 kW / 487 PS) and 871 Nm (642 lb-ft) of torque. A 10-speed auto gearbox will be used in both circumstances to send power to all four wheels.

Lexus LX
The current Lexus LX was introduced in 2007, and it has received three facelifts since then: in 2010, 2012, and 2015. Despite the countless revisions, it was time for a fresh start after so many years on the market. The fourth-generation Lexus LX will have its internet debut on Wednesday, October 13th at 07:30 PM Moscow time (12:30 PM EDT), following physical unveilings in Russia and the U.A.E.
