The AC GT SuperSport Is A $550K Cobra Reinvented For American Roads
by AutoExpert | 10 July, 2025
Meet the AC GT SuperSport—a bold, modern take on a classic British icon, built with American roads (and speed limits) in mind. This head-turning machine is the latest creation from AC Cars, a brand with roots going all the way back to 1901. It blends the soul of the legendary Cobra with the power and presence of a hypercar.
Built specifically for the US market, the GT SuperSport is not for the faint of heart or the light of wallet. With a starting price of $550,000 before taxes, it's very much in exotic territory. However, it’s also extremely exclusive, with production limited to just 25 units.

Under the hood, buyers can spec it with a beefed-up V8 producing up to 1,025 horsepower. AC hasn’t shared all the technical specs just yet, but this kind of output puts it squarely in the company of the world’s fastest cars. To match that muscle, the AC GT SuperSport also wears an aggressive aero kit, including a fixed rear wing, a custom front fascia, and a diffuser, all designed to keep the car planted at speed.

Visually, it’s a mix of classic and contemporary. The wide stance and long hood still whisper Cobra, but details like the rear wing and side skirts make it clear this is a reimagined built for serious performance.

AC Cars CEO David Conza calls it the company’s “most formidable model” to date, and says it will “cement itself as a true icon of automotive engineering.” First deliveries are expected to begin in 2027, so there's still time to dream, or start saving.
