The 2025 Hyundai Inster Cross Is An Adventure-Ready EV With Bold New Looks

With the new Inster Cross, Hyundai adds a more adventurous trim to its lineup. This new version builds on the electric Inster platform, which debuted last June, and gives it a toughened-up appearance perfect for city streets or the occasional dirt trail.

The 2025 Hyundai Inster Cross takes the already compact EV and adds a rugged body kit, roof rack, and new wheels, creating a bolder, more outdoorsy image. Oversized skid plates bulk up the front and rear bumpers, while black cladding wraps around the sides to give it a go-anywhere look.

The side skirts mimic rocker panels, and you can upgrade to 17-inch alloy wheels for an even tougher stance. The "Amazonas Green Matte" color, exclusive to the Cross trim, is the highlight, although other standard colors are also available. The changes inside are more subtle, but they add a bit of personality with lime-yellow accents on the gray cloth upholstery and dashboard. Despite its small size—it’s only 3,825 mm (150.6 inches) long—the 2025 Hyundai Inster Cross makes clever use of space.

You can opt for a front bench seat, a sliding and reclining second row, and a boot that ranges from 280 to 351 liters, depending on the setup. In terms of performance, the 2025 Hyundai Inster Cross is available with either the Standard or Long Range powertrains, just like the regular model. The single electric motor delivers either 95 hp or 113 hp, with battery capacities of 42 kWh or 49 kWh.

The Long Range version can travel up to 223 miles on a single charge and supports fast charging up to 120 kWh. By the end of the year, production of the Inster Cross will commence in Korea, with pricing and availability details anticipated closer to the launch. Hyundai hasn't confirmed all markets yet.
