Skoda is upping the ante with the 2024 Enyaq iV and its sportier counterpart, the Enyaq vRS. Both models have received a significant boost in powertrain capabilities and interior enhancements, gearing up for a comprehensive facelift next year.

Let's break down what's new. The entry-level Enyaq 60 remains as robust as ever with 176bhp, but the real excitement is in the new variants: the Enyaq 85 Edition and 85x Sportline Plus. These models have revved up the performance by an extra 80bhp compared to the Enyaq 80, hitting a solid 282bhp.

Speed enthusiasts, take note: the 85 Edition can zoom from 0-62mph in just 6.7 seconds, and the all-wheel-drive Sportline Plus isn't far behind, clocking in at 6.6 seconds.

Now, let's talk about the Enyaq vRS. It's gotten a hefty 40bhp boost, pushing its total output to an impressive 335bhp. This means it can now sprint from 0-62mph in a mere 5.5 seconds, with a torque increase to 402lb ft. And guess what? All Enyaq models now share the same top speed of 111mph.

Range-wise, the Enyaq is stepping up its game. The 85 variant now offers a range of 348 miles, and the sleeker Coupe version goes even further with over 353 miles. Charging rates have also seen a hike, with the 85x Sportline and the vRS now capable of juicing up at a speedy 175kW.

Inside the cabin, the Enyaq vRS's infotainment system has been fine-tuned for a more informative and user-friendly experience. Customizable quick-access buttons have been added for convenience, allowing easy control over features like lane assist, windscreen heating, and more.

The standard equipment level has received a boost too. Expect rear side airbags, rear window blinds, USB-C ports, and even tow-bar prep. And here's some good news for your wallet: the prices for the Advanced and Maxx optional extra packages have been slashed by £300.

The Advanced package now includes a more precise head-up display, heated rear seats, and an enhanced Canton sound system. Orders are now open for the new Enyaq, with all models built from November featuring these exciting software and powertrain updates.
