How crazy is this? Fisker is already changing the price of its electric Ocean SUV, just as deliveries are about to begin. Prices will vary across the range, and orders for the 2024 Fisker Ocean will be taken beginning on November 6, 2023.

For instance, the base Sport model now costs $38,999 instead of $37,499. In his explanation of the price increases, Chairman and CEO Henrik Fisker said, "It is essential that Fisker responds to competitive realities in the rapidly growing EV market."

The goal is to guarantee that consumers can continue to access the Ocean and enjoy its combination of cutting-edge technologies, eye-catching design, and an industry-leading range. Fisker anticipates that these pricing changes, together with cost-cutting initiatives and decreased input prices, won't have a detrimental effect on total profit margins and is certain that the Sport and Ultra models will become best-sellers in 2024.

Interestingly, the Ocean Extreme drops $7,500 from $68,999 to $61,499, making it more accessible. In contrast, the most expensive Ocean model will experience a price rise in 2024. Even if their cars have already been constructed, customers who have requested or bought this model will benefit from the lower pricing. With a powerful 360-mile range, the Ocean Extreme's 113-kWh battery pack is rather astounding.

The Ocean Sport uses a more affordable Lithium Iron Phosphate battery chemistry to give 232 miles of range, while the Ocean Ultra boasts a 350-mile range. For better performance and range, however, the Extreme and Ultra versions employ Nickel Manganese Cobalt batteries.
