Over a year ago, Mercedes-AMG made a grand announcement about the SL 43 four-cylinder model. And now, the moment we've all been waiting for has finally arrived—the automaker has confirmed that this beauty will be up for grabs in the United States!
Under the hood of the 43 lies a mighty 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, churning out an impressive 375 horsepower and 354 pound-feet of torque. The SL 43 boasts AMG's multi-clutch nine-speed transmission, propelling it from 0 to 60 mph in a mere 4.8 seconds and reaching an impressive top speed of 170 mph.
The SL 43's exclusivity lies in its rear-wheel drive, adding an intriguing dimension to its already captivating design. Its affordability is certainly another selling point, with a starting price of $111,050 compared to the SL 55's starting price of $138,450.
