There will be a significantly reworked exterior, two new colors, and two extra packages for 2023 Kia Soul. Since last year, the turbocharged engine choice is no longer available, and the sporty X-Line trim level has been deleted from the lineup.

To begin with, the single headlights on the 2023 Kia Soul are what set it apart from its predecessor. Narrow DRLs, aluminum-style trim, and a huge central intake with a contemporary design adorn the new front bumper.

Additionally, the 17- and 18-inch alloy wheels have been redesigned, as well as the rear bumper, and two new duo-tone paint schemes, Clear White and Surf Blue, which are both paired with a Fusion Black Roof. The 2023 Soul comes in LX, S, EX, GT-Line, and GT-Line Tech trims, with the X-Line and Turbo trims no longer available.

The Soul is therefore limited to a 2.0-liter four-cylinder motor with 147 horsepower and 132 pounds-feet of torque. The power is routed solely to the front wheels through an Intelligent Variable Transmission (CVT).

Except for the entry-level LX, all grades include a 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen with navigation. Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist, Lane Keeping and Lane Following Assist, Driver Attention and Lane Departure Warning, High Beam Assist, and Rear Occupant Alert are all standard ADAS features.

The GT-Line Technology Package is available for individuals who seek the most advanced Soul. Thanks to a mix of radar and camera sensors, it brings Junction Turning functionality to the Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist, as well as the more complex Highway Drive-Assist and Navigation-based Smart Cruise Control. The package also includes LED headlights and taillights, as well as interior upgrades.

The price of the 2023 Kia Soul will be disclosed in the following months.
