Th New Nissan 400Z Might Cost You $34,995

Rumors directly from the Nissan's Tenesse factory of the final price for the new Nissan Z could reach $35,000. And you know now that the Nissan's nickname in US would be Nisan Z and Fairlady Z in Japan. The Nissan Z's models would all get the powerfultwin-turbo V6 and the tests show that the  engine could deliver up to 400 horsepower.

A slight gain ahead the Toyota's Supra $40,000 price and extra 145 horsepower. As you can guess Nissan has a good plan of building a fair competition to Ford's Mustang and Toyota's Supra. There's also unofficial confirmation of a Digital Das, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as standard for all its models. The New Z will be offered in in optional Type S and Type T packages combined with a ST trim level for a $10,000.

Presumably, the Nissan Z base model will have Akebono brakes, while the Type S will swap them for Brembo brakes and thicker sway bar update. The Type T will be the comfort package consisting of leather, powered, heated and cooled seats. The V6 engine will be coupled to both manual and automatic transmission, though no further details have been confirmed yet.

There's high hopes of a rumored Mercedes based 9G Tronic for the Nissan Z models and the current Titan, but a dual-clutch transmission would use a  torque converter. But still such a transmission would be a grate upgrade for the Jatco seven-speed in the current model.

The New Z was inspired by the 370 Z and actually a successful upgrade, though, in fact the base model is the 370Z Sport. Logically the new Sport model based-on the older 370Z Nismo. And let's take a guess what a new Nismo would be based on, because no information were disclosed about it.
