Tesla vs Toyota - Electric Power vs Hydrogen Power
by AllAutoExperts | 17 April, 2020
Contrary to the popular and trendy belief that EVs will be the future, Toyota is betting on hydrogen power.

Elon Musk of Tesla and many other carmakers are placing their bets on the electricity, while Toyota believes that EVs have a major flaw. The flaw makes their hydrogen fuel cell vehicle (FCV) a much better alternative. And the flaw is called - recharge time. It is true that recharging an EV can take a few hours and recharging a FCV takes about 5 minutes.
Toyota says that once people realize the convenience of hydrogen they will switch from EVs to FCVs.

However, their plan to dominate the market by 2050 has some issues. According to the US Department of Energy, there are only 12 hydrogen stations in the entire USA, while the number of electric stations exceeds 10,000 units.
But nothing is yet lost, this is Toyota, one of the biggest car makers in the world. They have both the finances and determination to build an infrastructure for the FCVs.
What do you think is the future EVs or the FCVs?
