Tesla Semi Is Getting Closer To Becoming Real
by AllAutoExperts | 17 April, 2020
A new render of Tesla Semi has become public and it now previews a huge windshield, side-view cameras instead of the regular mirrors and a futuristic angular design.
Te render comes from Peisert, who has adopted a design style that is quite different from what we have seen from Tesla so far. The existing Teslas have a more flowing and organic shape.

Peisert has been inspired by Mercedes-Benz Future Truck 2025. He turned the Daimler concept into a Tesla one, with the necessary modifications.
Meanwhile, Elon Musk has come up with a statement on his Twitter account, saying that the Semi project is under development, the company now focusing mainly on Model 3.
Last year, Musk has announced that the company is developing a vehicle that would considerably reduce the costs of cargo transportation while increasing safety and pleasure to drive. The estimated time for finishing the project was six to nine months, starting with last year. This would make May 2017 the final month for presenting the project.
The project will probably be reviewed by a prototype, with a production version following in about 5 years from then. According to Musk, the platform will probably feature a high-capacity battery, of approximately 100kwh.
Jerome Guillen is in charge of the Tesla Semi project, after having been Tesla Model S' Program Director. Nevertheless, until the bright mind of Jerome finishes the work on Tesla's truck, the marketplace might already feature two strong rivals - Nikola One and Otto.
